Ah the Holidays. Pretty lights. The smell of pine trees in the air. A pile of presents under the tree. Throw in a pinch of sneezing, a pile of coughing and a river of runny noses and you have our family this season.
I came down with this nastiness a week ago Sunday so I clearly was the source of our family's misery. Ryan and Carter picked it up on Thursday. Neither has been sleeping well and it seems like just as one finally nods off, the other wakes up in a fit of coughing. Joy. On the plus side, the kids don't seem to have it nearly as badly as I did. I think they are on their way out of it as we speak. Nicole has somehow managed to escape the sickness. I'm keeping my fingers crossed until none of us are showing in any symptoms. If she comes down with this crud, our household will fall apart :)
Uh oh. Late breaking news. Nicole is running around the house coughing. The proverbial wheels have just come off the bus folks. Heaven help us!
