Sleeping through the night |

C-man has a tough go when it comes to sleeping through the night, which pretty much means Mom has had it bad too.
Where Ryan fell into a 6-8 hour sleep schedule within 4 months, Carter is just now, at 8 months, finding the same rhythm. Perhaps it is the fact that he sleeps in the same room as a 3 year old. Perhaps it is Mom and Dad jumping out of bed the moment Carter wakes up so that the toddler doesn't wake up too. Perhaps it is Dad being too cheap to use the A/C at night in the summer months.
Whatever the case, it's been a long haul for everyone.... except Ryan. Where we were worried that Ryan would wake up when Carter started crying, it seems that the little pumpkin head could care less. The only time Ryan has really woken up is when we've let Carter "cry it out" a few times (where in the middle of the wailing, Ryan smartly said "Daddy give Carter a bottle!").
The upshot is that after 8 months, Carter is starting to sleep through the majority of the night. That is the best early Christmas present I could have asked for!
