One small pee for kid kind |

It's been a long time coming. He's teased us several times with the promise of big boy underwear. Now we're seeing real progress towards independent tinkles.
In August, Ryan aged up to the 3 year old class (the Frolicking froggies). That class is known as a "transition room", ie getting out of the diapers and into the underoos. His teacher, Miss Sue, has been helping us put the full court press on Ryan for potty training.
At school they have been tempting him with visits to "the Village", a little play area at the center that has kid sized stores, cars, mailboxes, etc. I don't know why, but he *really* wanted to go there so it was a good carrot for him.
At home we've been enticing him with stickers, chocolates, little tiny toys, piles of praise, or whatever works that day.
Between the two of us, we've seen huge improvements in the past few months. Now every morning, Ryan puts on a snazzy pair of Thomas the Tank Engine underoos and heads off to school. He'll keep those on until nap time, where he puts on a pair of pull ups. In the afternoon, we're back to underoos until bed time.
We still have a few accidents a week. We're still hit and miss (as it were) when it comes to pooping but as far as I'm concerned, the heavens have opened and the angels are singing.
Go team.
